- 8-10 Kaju/ Cashews

- 2 Cups Water
- 4-5 Elaichi Powder
- 6-7 Kesar Strands
Instructions to make to make Besan Ka Halwa
- Take a tadka pan, add 2 Table Spoon Desi ghee in it & turn the gas on low flame.
- When ghee gets heated up, add Badaam, kaju & pista in it & roast them for 20-30 seconds till they start popping.
- After 20-30 seconds, when they starts popping, take them out in a plate & add raisins pieces in it & roast them for only 10 seconds.
- After 10 seconds, turn off the flame & take them out in a plate.
- Now chop them roughly.
- Now take a pan or Kadhai, add 1 Cup Besan & 2 Table Spoon Suji in it & turn the gas on low flame.
- Now dry roast Besan for 5-6 minutes, till a fragrance starts coming out of it & its moisture is completely released.
- After 5-6 minutes, when a fragrance starts coming out Besan & Suji, add 1 Cup Desi ghee in it with ghee in which dry fruits were roasted & mix them properly.
- Now roast Besan in ghee for 6-7 minutes till it turn into golden brown in colour.
- After 6-7 minutes, when Besan turn into slight golden brown in colour, add 1/2 Cup Sugar in it & mix it properly.
- Now cook them till sugar dissolves completely in Besan.
- After 7-8 minutes, when sugar is completely dissolved in Besan it’s colour is completely changed, add 2 Cups Kesar added Water in it & mix them properly.
- Then add 4-5 Elaichi Powder & roughly chopped fry fruits in it & mix them properly.
- Now cook them for 5-10 minutes on low flame till it turn into more golden brown in colour.
- After 5-10 minutes, turn off the flame & transfer the Halwa in a big bowl.
- Your Besan Ka Halwa is ready to be served.
