- 1 cup Semolina/ Rava/suji
- 1.5 cup Sugar
- 3 cups water
- 1 table spoon Elaichi powder
- Plums and cashew nuts
- 1/4-1/2 cup ghee
- 2 drops yellow food colour
Steps to make to make Pineapple Kesari
- Take thick bottom pan, and put 2 table spoon of ghee, keep the flame in medium heat, once the pan heated, put Cashew nuts into it. Roast it turn golden colour. Then remove the cashew nuts from the pan
- Then put Plums in the pan and slightly roast it. Then remove it from the pan.
- After that, take 1 cup of semolina and roast it in the ghee. Then remove it from the pan. And keep it aside
- You can use the same thick bottom pan to make this kesari
- Again put 1 tablespoon of ghee, and add finely chopped pineapple pieces into it, and stir for 2 minutes in medium heat
- Then add 3 cups of water, wait till boil, put little bit of Salt at this stage
- Add few drops of yellow food colour
- Add roasted Semolina in boiling water slowly, keep the flame in low now, stir nicely, add little bit of ghee.
- When it's getting thick, now time to add sugar(1.5 cup up to 2 cups, not less than 1.5cup)
- Again add little bit of ghee
- Add 1tablespoon of Elaichi powder, If you don't like, you can leave it. its optional
- Add roasted Cashew nuts, and plums.
- Add ghee in regular intervals and keep stirring are required for getting perfect texture of any types of Kesari
- Once the kesari gets thick, switch off the flame, and add ghee on top of it
- Save hot or warm.
