  6. Now take out lemon sized balls from the mixture and roll out to a thick disc. Use oil to roll and not dry flour.
  7. Then place 1 tablespoon of filling rolled into round shape.Then pull up the edge of disc, fold and gather each fold towards each other. Give a twist and press the edges together. You will get the Modak shape.
  8. Cover the Modak with muslin cloth till you prepare all. Heat ghee on low flame in a kadhai.
  9. When ghee is sufficiently hot, drop one Modak gently and fry well from both sides. Wait till bottom side is done and then fry from top side.
  10. Now, remove and cool on tissue paper in a plate. Fry all the Modak one by one or 2 at a time.
  11. To offer Shri. Ganesha, place on a bed of banana leaves, add some ghee on top and make the bhog or naivedya. Ganapati Bappa Morya
