  2. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 medium size onion finely chopped
  4. 2 medium size onion paste
  5. 1/2 tbsp green chilli paste
  6. 1/2 cup yoghurt
  7. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  8. 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  9. 1/2 cup almond
  10. 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  11. as needed Oil
  12. For special masala powder:-
  13. 2 tsp coriander seeds
  14. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  15. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  16. 1 black cardamom
  17. 2 cinnamon stick
  18. 1 bay leaf
  19. 5-6 cloves
  20. 1 star anise
  21. 1 mace
  22. 1 nutmeg

Steps to make to make Almond Malai Murgh Curry

  1. Soak the almonds in hot water for 15 minutes. Peel the the almonds and put them in a blender with fresh cream and make a smooth thick paste. Keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan add all whole spices. On medium flame dry roast the spices until they turn aromatic. Switch off the flame. Let the spices cool down. Then put them in a grinder and grind it into a fine powder.
  3. Take a mixing bowl add yoghurt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, chili flakes and 1 tbsp whole spices powder. Mix it well. Now marinate the chicken with this mixture and keep it aside for 1 hrs.
  4. Heat a pan with oil. Add chopped onion, onion paste, green chilli paste, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute for 3-4 minutes. When the paste release the oil add marinated chicken pieces and cook them for 5-6 minutes. Cover it with lid and cook the chicken for 5 minutes.
  5. Add salt and sugar and stir it. Then add almond malai paste. Mix it well and cover it with lid. Let the Chicken cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Switch off the flame and serve it hot with garlic naan or paratha.
