- Roast the Moong Dal until golden in colour. Wash the rice and Masoor Dal separately for 2-3 times. In a big bowl add Moong Dal, Masoor Dal and Rice together and soak for 30 mins

- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, and mix well with chicken.
- Add 1/4 cup water and cook covered for 5 mins on low flame
- Once oil surfaces, cook chicken further covered for 10 mins.
- Set aside the chicken from the curry and add the drained rice with dals to it.
- Mix well, add 4.5 cups hot water and add salt and cook on high flame for 5 mins
- Reduce flame to low and add cooked chicken and cook covered for 5 mins
- Stir once and again cover to cook for 15 mins
- Stir once and add ghee and garam masala powder and cook covered for 5 mins
- Switch off the flame and keep it covered for 10 mins
- Serve with Papad and ghee drizzled on top
