- 1 cup (240 ml) blanched almonds
- 3 tbsp pistachio nuts
- 50 gm icing sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 pinch saffron strands
- 1-2 tbsp milk to bind dough

- Baking paper to roast

- To blanch almonds.. wash and soak almonds in warm water for atleast 4 hours. Peel of soaked almonds after 4 hours. Dry blanched almonds on kitchen towel for 1 hour.

- Roll on butter paper kept on wooden rolling board into 5"- 6" round thick rotla. Cut with cookies cutter as shown.
- Press almond have in center of each puri.
- Roast on baking paper placed on warm griddle for 4-5 minutes. Flip gently and roast for 3-4 mins. Cool and store in airtight container.
