- 8 cloves
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds

- In a frying dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, fennel seeds, cloves, mace, black pepper corn and roast the red chilli, grind all to a powder and keep aside.
- Heat ghee add onion, ginger & garlic paste, fry till it changes colour, on high flame.
- Add meat, salt, turmeric and fry on high flame till changes colour.
- Now add tomatoes, grind masala powder (keep a little a side for garnishing) mix well and wait for a boil
- Add water cover and cook on low to medium till the mutton is tender.
- Then add the yogurt and cook further till the oil comes on surface.
- Add green chilli, grind masala powder, mix well.
- Serve hot with roti, naan.
