  2. 750 gm sugar
  3. 1 cup water
  4. 150 gm desi ghee
  5. Other ingredients:
  6. 1 kg rice flour
  7. 1 tbs fenugreek Seeds
  8. 1 tbs carom seeds
  9. 1 cup peanuts
  10. half cup almonds
  11. 1/3 cup pistachio
  12. 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
  13. 1/3 cup sesame Seeds
  14. 12 green cardamom
  15. 1/3 coconut flakes
  16. 1/3 cup raisins

Instructions to make to make چاول کی پنیاں

  1. Add in water and sugar in a large pot and let it melt at medium flame
  2. When the sugar gets dissolved and syrup become thick add in ghee
  3. Boil for at least 20 mints to attain 1 string consistency
  4. Now slightly roast almonds, pistachio, peanuts and sesame seeds separately and set them aside
  5. Now grind cardamoms, fenugreek seeds and carom seeds and put it aside
  6. Now roughly grind almonds, peanuts and pistachios.I separated some of them to put in as it is
  7. Now on slow flame roast the rice flour for 20 mints when colour change remove in a large bowl
  8. Now mix in rice flour, ground nuts,whole nuts and cardamom carom seeds powder, coconut flakes, resins, sesame seeds and desiccated coconut
  9. Now add in hot sugar syrup very carefully mix well immediately and rest for a while until it becomes slightly cool to touch with hands
  10. Now make balls of desired size by wet hands immediately... It won't work if it gets hard..so you have to be very quick.
  11. Save in an airtight container for future use
