  1. 1/2 kg Mutton kaleji
  2. 2 tbsp ‎Ginger garlic paste
  3. 1/2 cup Curd
  4. 1 tbsp Roasted crushed Coriander powder
  5. 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp Roasted Crushed red chill flakes ‎
  7. 1 tsp Roasted Crushed cumin
  8. 1 tsp Chat masala
  9. Salt according to taste
  10. 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  11. 1 tsp Garam masala
  12. 1 tbsp ‎Qasoori methi
  13. 1/4 cup Oil
  14. Fresh coriander for garnishing
  15. ‎Green chillies for garnishing

Steps to make to make Masala kaleji / Spicy liver

  1. Firstly wash whole liver (before cutting) Cut into small pieces (while cutting try to remove it’s thin skin too) Put in strainer for couple of minutes so all water drain
  2. Meanwhile in a small pan dry roast cumin, coriander and chilli flakes for couple of seconds (this step enhance the taste)
  3. In a big bowl add curd with this roasted masala, garam masala,turmeric powder,chat masala and ginger garlic paste Add liver pieces n mix it well, Rest minimum 15 minutes for marination
  4. Heat oil, add marinated liver pieces, fry on high flame for minimum 2 minutes or maximum 5 minutes (not more than that else your liver become hard) While frying don’t add water or don’t cover the pan
  5. Lastly add salt, lemon juice and qasuri methi Garnish with fresh coriander and green chillies
  6. Enjoy Note: kaleji hamesha jitni khani hai itni hi banye, reheated na kryn,(reheat krny se bhi kaleji hard hojati hai)
