- 80 gms sugar powder

- 1-2 tbsp milk to bind

- Badam/ Almond halves to garnish
- Baking paper to roast
Instructions to make to make Rakhi Special Badam Rotla/ Puri
- Grind almonds in mixer grinder to make fine flour..see that no oil comes out.
- Transfer it in mixing bowl. Add sugar powder, cardamom powder, saffron strands in it.
- Sprinkle 1-2 tbsp of milk and bind into soft tight dough.
- Divide into 4-5 equal portions. Keep one flattened balls on butter paper placed on rolling board. Roll each into 21/2-3 " round thick rotla. Garnish with pistachio halves on edges and almond half in centre as shown.
- Place it on warm griddle. Roast on slow flame for 3-4 mins. Flip gently and roast for 3-4 mins. Similarly prepare all. Cool and store in airtight container.
- Or divide dough into 2 equal portions Flattened and roll into 6" thick rotla. With cookies cutter cut into small puris. place pistachio halves in center. Roast similarly on griddle as above mentioned method on griddle.
