Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Dahi Ka Achaar:

  1. 1/2 kg curd
  2. 3 tbsp mustard seeds
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  5. 1 tsp kalaunji
  6. as per taste Salt
  7. 1/2 tsp hing
  8. 2 tbsp grated ginger
  9. 4 tbsp mustard oil

Instructions to make to make Dahi Ka Achaar

  1. Take 1/2kg curd and hang at a height to remove all extra water. Take 3 tbsps of mustard seeds and grind it paste using 1/2 cup water. Keep this aside for around 2hrs.
  2. Roast cumin as well as kalaunji.Grind both of them to powder.
  3. When the hung curd is ready, to it add all the other ingredients like mustard paste, cumin and kalaunji powder, salt according to taste, 1/2tsp hing, around 2 tbsp grated ginger and 4-5 tbsp mustard oil. (For this pickle, you don't need to heat the oil)
  4. Mix the above ingredients well and keep this aside covered for around 12 hrs. The pickle is ready to be eaten..
