  1. 250 gm soya Chaap (fresh wali)
  2. 1/2 cup hung curd
  3. 1 tablespoon gramflour
  4. 1/2 cup malai (fresh) or cream
  5. 1 big size onion some pieces of capsicum
  6. as per taste Salt white & black
  7. 1/2 tea spoon chilli powder
  8. 1/2 garam masala
  9. 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
  10. 1/2 tea spoon black pepper
  11. 1/2 teaspoon roasted jeera powder
  12. 1/2 tea spoon haldi powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon mint powder
  14. 1 tablespoon oil
  15. 2 inch piece ready made butter
  16. as per need Mint chutney
  17. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps to make to make Soya Malai Chaap

  1. Chaap wash proper & remove the sticks. Cut into round mid size. In a pan add water & boil it for few min. Transfer it into a strainer. Now in a bowl add curd besan & all dry masala.
  2. Mix it very well & keep aside for 2 hours. So that the Chaap marinate proper. After 2 hours we should mix it again.
  3. Take a non-stick pan brush the oil & put the soya chunks 1 by 1 in the pan. Cover it with lid on low mid flame.
  4. When 1 side roast means looks brown colour, change the side. After roast both sides off the flame & transfer it into a micro safe bowl.
  5. Add malai roughly chopped onion capsicum & lemon juice. stir it & again roast it for 30 seconds in microwave. If you like more creamy texture add butter also. I don't use butter. After 30 sec move out it & serve with mint chutney.
  6. Always serve garam garam because cool soya has no taste & all ingredients loss their aroma. Super delicious snacks for party or before dinner. Garnish it with oregano. Its optional.
