- 2 cup melon seeds
- 1/4 cup sugar (you can increase or decrease as per your taste)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup khoya
- 1/2 cup mix nuts
- 1 tablespoon desi ghee
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- For coconut Burfi -
- 2 cup designated coconut
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup khoya
- 1/2 cup mix nuts
- 1 tablespoon desi ghee
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Instructions to make to make Melon Seeds and Coconut burfi
- Take one heavy bottom pan add melon seeds and dry roast them and churn them.
- Heat pan add khoya until it becomes little pink in colour. After that add melon seeds and mix well.
- In another pan add sugar with water. Then add cardamom powder and mix this sugar syrup with melon seeds and khoya mixture.
- Cook it on medium flame until it releases all it’s fat. Place it on a greased tray and decorate it with chopped nuts. Kanha’s Bhog melon seeds burfi is ready.
- For coconut burfi - Dry roast coconut in a heavy bottom pan and keep aside and then fry khoya until it becomes little pink in colour.
- Take one pan and dissolve sugar with water and add cardamom powder then pour this mixture into khoya coconut mixture. Cook it until it releases its fat. Transfer it into a greased tray and decorate it with mix nuts. Kanha’ s Bhog is ready. Jai kanhaiya lal ki
