Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Rava Upma:

  1. 1 cup Rava (Semolina, Sooji)
  2. 3 cup Water
  3. as required Peanut
  4. 7-8 Cashew
  5. 1 Finely Chopped Onion Medium
  6. as required Curry Leaves
  7. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp Chana dal
  9. 1/2 tsp Urad Dal
  10. 2 tbsp Oil
  11. 1 tsp Ghee
  12. as per taste Salt

Steps to make to make Rava Upma

  1. Take a pan, Add Rava and dry roast on low flame (DON'T CHANGE COLOR)
  2. Keep aside roasted rava.
  3. Take another pan add oil roast cashew and take out in a plate.
  4. In same oil roast peanut and take out in a plate.
  5. In same oil add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and curry leaves saute for few seconds.
  6. Add finely chopped onion and green chilli, Saute well.
  7. Add water, Salt and ghee. give a boil to water.
  8. When water become boil turn the flame on low and add roasted rava, stir continuously.
  9. You see rava comes thick add roasted cashew and peanut mix continue.
  10. Cover for 1 minute on low flame.
  11. Rava upma is ready, serve hot
