  1. 1 cup Broken rice
  2. 2 tablespoons oil
  3. 2 carrot 1 big size onion
  4. 2 mid size capsicum 10 sticks french beans
  5. 8-10 small square piece paneer
  6. 1 teaspoon garlic
  7. 7-8 clove 1 inch piece ginger
  8. As per taste Salt
  9. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  10. 1 teaspoon garam masala
  11. 1/2 teaspoon jeera
  12. 1 teaspoon oregano seasoning

Steps to make to make Masala rice or pulao

  1. Wash & soak rice for 1 hour. Now boil it add 1/2 teaspoon Salt & some drops of oil. We use 2 cup of water. Rice boil without lid till they cook properly, not over boiled.
  2. In a pan add oil & roast garlic jeera & ginger. After proper roast add chopped veggie & onion.
  3. Saute it on mid-flame. Cover the pan with a lid & add more salt chili powder gram masala & oregano. Mix all ingredients. Now add boiled rice without water. Paneer also adds now. On low flame in nonstick pan stir continues the rice.
  4. All veggie proper mix in rice. Cover it for 2 min. Off the flame. I used green chili readymade chutney. It's optional. serve it garam garam.
  5. Garnish with chopped mint or coriander leaves. Masala rice is so yummy that we want no curd or rasam with it.
