  3. 1/2 cup Sugar
  4. 1/2 cup Dessicated coconut -
  5. 1tbsp Green cardamom powder
  6. 1tbsp Posto Dana/khus khus
  7. 1 tbsp ,musk melon seeds
  8. as required Oil for frying

Steps to make to make Chandrakanthalu

  1. Grind the soaked dal.
  2. Heat ghee in a karahi,add dal and mix.Cook it for 2 min.Add,1/4 th cup water and roast the dal.
  3. Now add sugar, coconut powder and cook.When the mixture becomes like a dough.Switch off the gas.Add.cardamom powder and mix.
  4. Take a thali,cover the back of the thali with aluminium foil.Place the dal mixture on it and spread it evenly.Sprinkle postdana and musk melon seeds over it and press with the help of a rolling pin.
  5. Take a glass or bowl and cut half moon shape.
  6. Heat oil in a karahi,on a medium heat fry all your chandrakanthalu.
  7. Your delicious chandrakanthalus are ready to serve.
