- 1 bay leaf
- 3 green cardamom
- 4 black peppercorns
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 2 cloves

- 1 Tsp curry powder
- 1 Tsp turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Kashmiri red chili powder

- 3/4 cup mustard oil

- First, wash the Cauliflower and keep in hot water for 5 minutes to remov impurities and insects if any.
- Heat oil in kadhai and fry both the sides of gobhi till colour change to brown. Remove from kadhai and set aside the fried Cauliflower.
- If required, add more oil to the same kadhai, roast garam masala and cumin seeds on low heat till aromatic. Add hing powder and chopped onion. Fry till translucent.
- Add garlic, ginger and green chillies. Saute for some time. Now add chopped tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder and saute till tomatoes are mushy.
- Then add rest dry masala powder like kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and curry masala powder. Add 1/4 cup water and cook till oil separate from masala.
- Mix the cream and cook on low flame till oil separated. Add 1/2 cup water and bring to boil. Put the fried Cauliflower and cook covered, both the sides for 6-8 minutes.
- Now the colourful and most delicious Gobhi Mussalam is ready. Cut into pieces (4), garnish with green coriander and serve with Roti /Paratha.
